Artisans' Financial Services Privacy Policy
Artisans' Financial Services (AFS) values your privacy and the trust you have placed in us to protect your personal and financial information. We hope this disclosure helps you to understand the consumer privacy regulations and our information security practices. If you have any questions or concerns about this regulation or our information security practices, we encourage you to contact Artisans' Financial Services.

Definitions
AFS, we, our, and us when used in this privacy disclosure means Artisans' Financial Services. When we use the words you or your, we mean consumers and/or our customers who have established a continuing financial services relationship with us, such as customers transacting:

  • Mutual Funds, Bonds, Equities, Annuities
  • Life Insurance, IRAs/IRA Rollovers, 529 College Plans
  • Business Retirement Plans, and Financial Analysis
The privacy regulations do not apply to Commercial customers or those who only conduct isolated transactions with us.

Nonpublic personal or financial information (NPPI) means information about you that we may collect in connection with providing an Artisans' Financial Services financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal or financial information (NPPI) does not include information available from public sources, such as the telephone directory or public government records. This information may include your name, address, social security number, primary identification number, assets, income and/or debts.

An affiliate means a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. As a division of Artisans' Bank, Artisans' Financial Services maintains an affiliate relationship with Artisans' Bank.

A non-affiliated third party is any company that is not an affiliate of ours.

Basic Rules
Before you establish a continuing consumer relationship with us, we will tell you the categories of nonpublic personal and financial information we collect, retain and disclose. We will also tell you what measures we take to secure that information. We will send you an annual notice of our privacy practices. We will send you a revised notice if our privacy practices change.

Information That We Collect And Retain
We collect nonpublic personal and financial information (NPPI) about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive directly from you on applications or other new account forms.
  • Information about your financial services transactions with us.
  • Information from our customer satisfaction surveys.

Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your NPPI
We restrict access to NPPI about you to those employees who need to know the information to provide our products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information from unauthorized access or use. We train and expect our employees to comply with these standards.

We hold as completely confidential any NPPI provided to any associate of Artisans' Financial Services in the course of executing an account relationship or transaction.

Authorized Sharing with Non-Affiliated Third Parties
We do not disclose NPPI about our current or former customers or consumers to non-affiliated third parties, except as required or permitted by law.

NPFI may be disclosed, however, to companies that perform specific financial services support or marketing services for us under a formal agreement or contract. In these instances, we provide only the information they require to perform the agreed-upon service and we require them to maintain the confidentiality of your information. You do not have a right to "opt-out" of this type of information sharing.

These non-affiliated third-parties may include:

  • Contracted providers who perform computer processing, account management, and other financial services for our customers.
  • Contracted providers who execute marketing programs of Artisans' Financial Services products and services we believe may be of value to you.
  • Non-affiliated third parties where Artisans' Financial Services acts as an agent for products and services provided by the non-affiliated third party.

This information may be disclosed:

  • To process your initiated application or transaction.
  • To service your accounts or transactions with us or others.
  • To provide you with information about additional Artisans' Financial Services products and services we believe may be of benefit to you.

We may also at times disclose NPPI to government agencies and law enforcement officials to help prevent fraud or as may be required by law. You do not have a right to "opt out" of this type of information sharing.

Artisans' Financial Services does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide any customer or consumer information to outside companies so that they can solicit non-financial services to you by mail, telephone or Internet.

Non-FDIC Insured Investments
Artisans' Bank has an agreement with a non-affiliated third party service provider (Uvest Investment Services) to have a properly licensed and segregated Artisans' Financial Services employee offer non-FDIC insured investment products under the trade name Artisans' Financial Services, a division of Artisans' Bank. In order to provide you these investment services, non-public personal and financial information may be disclosed to the non-affiliated third party service provider. In these instances, we provide only the information they require to perform the agreed-upon service and we require them to maintain the confidentiality of your information. You do not have a right to "opt-out" of this type of information sharing.

Direct Marketing
Artisans' Financial Services does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide any customer information to outside companies so that they can solicit non-financial services to you by mail, telephone, or Internet

Artisans' Financial Services Web Site
Artisans' Financial Services uses standard Internet industry software to collect non-identifying information about our web site visitors; such as the date and time our site was accessed, the IP address (a numeric address given to servers connected to the Internet), the web browser used, and city, state and country. This information is used to create summary statistics which determines the level of interest in the information we make available on our web site.

Artisans' Financial Services does not obtain personal information about you on our web site.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
This law was enacted in 1998 to regulate the online collection of personal information from children under the age of 13. Artisans' Financial Services complies with the COPPA regulations. Our web site is not directed towards children and AFS does not collect personal information from children online.

Data Disposal
To reduce the risk or fraud or identity theft, Artisans' Financial Services takes industry approved measures to dispose of your sensitive information, whether maintained in hard copy or electronic formats.

Data Breach Response Program
As requried by the Privacy regulations, Artisans' Financial Services has established a formal response program in the event your data becomes compromised or misused. When required, customer notice of such an event will be given to you in a clear, conspicuous and timely manner

What You Can Do
You play an important role in protecting the privacy and accuracy of your nonpublic personal and financial information. Keep good records. Review your account statements and transaction receipts in a timely manner. Notify the AFS immediately if your identification or financial records are lost or stolen. Do not share your passwords or PINs with anyone. And when asked, please respect the our requests for identification; they are for your own protection.
